Wow, this is pathetic

http://www.thevoicemagazine.com/politics/512-obama-youth-brigade-church-attendance-forbidden.html

Wow, so much for "change". The only thing that has changed is the name and party of those running our country. And we wonder why we are failing as a nation? The answer to our problems is a simple.......GOD. But oh i forgot, we have "separation of church and state", which doesn't even mean what the politicians want us to think it does. Just go read what the term to establish meant in that time, might surprise you.

And for those who love the two party system, you need to work on having some wisdom.

I am a..............

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self -- always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.

Idealists are sure that friendly cooperation is the best way for people to achieve their goals. Conflict and confrontation upset them because they seem to put up angry barriers between people. Idealists dream of creating harmonious, even caring personal relations, and they have a unique talent for helping people get along with each other and work together for the good of all. Such interpersonal harmony might be a romantic ideal, but then Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.

Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.

Idealists are relatively rare, making up no more than 15 to 20 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

Idealists at Work
Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. They are naturally drawn to working with people and are gifted with helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potential both on, and off, the job.

Your beliefs are the arbiter of your actions, even if you cannot articulate those beliefs specifically. You hold a strong, clear sense of the way the universe works, what's "right" and what's "wrong," and what your purpose is in the overall scheme of things. In your ideal job, you can embody those beliefs in your relationships with other people. Because you likely have a talent for de-escalating situations and can almost always find just the "right words", you often significantly improve the morale of organizations to which you belong.

Who is Jesus?

IN CHEMISTRY, HE TURNED WATER TO WINE.
IN BIOLOGY, HE WAS BORN WITHOUT THE NORMAL CONCEPTION;
IN PHYSICS, HE DISPROVED THE LAW OF GRAVITY WHEN HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN;
IN ECONOMICS, HE DISPROVED THE LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURN BY FEEDING 5000 MEN WITH TWO FISHES & 5 LOAVES OF BREAD;
IN MEDICINE, HE CURED THE SICK AND THE BLIND WITHOUT ADMINISTERING A SINGLE DOSE OF DRUGS,

IN HISTORY, HE IS THE BEGINNING AND THE END;
IN GOVERNMENT, HE SAID THAT HE SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, PRINCE OF PEACE

IN RELIGION, HE SAID NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM;
SO, WHO IS HE? HE IS JESUS!

JOIN ME AND LET'S CELEBRATE HIM; HE IS WORTHY.
THE EYES BEHOLDING THIS MESSAGE SHALL NOT BEHOLD EVIL,
THE HAND THAT WILL SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYBODY SHALL NOT LABOR IN VAIN,
AND THE MOUTH SAYING AMEN TO THIS PRAYER SHALL SMILE FOREVER.
REMAIN IN GOD AND SEEK HIS FACE ALWAYS.
AMEN

IN GOD I'VE FOUND EVERYTHING!

The Greatest Man in History Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.

Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer

He had no army, yet kings feared Him..

He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us!

JESUS

JESUS IS SAVIOUR:
The first of the five cardinal truths is that Jesus is our Savior. This is represented by the symbol of the Cross. Jesus said, "The Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost" Luke 19:10. Because of our failure to keep God's commandments and our willful disobedience to Him, mankind has incurred a debt to God that he cannot pay. Mankind also gave himself to the destructive power of the devil, and we are suffering the consequences of our wayward lifestyles. Jesus came to save us from the penalty of sin, the power of the devil and even the terrible mess we created for ourselves. Jesus, as the Son of God, lived a perfect life and gave it in ransom for our sins and was put to death for them on the cross. His blood paid the full price, and now those who accept Him and make Him Lord of their lives will be saved. (Scripture references: Luke 19:10; John 1:29; John 3:16)
JESUS IS HEALER:
The second cardinal truth is that Jesus is our healer. This is represented by the cup of blessing. The Bible says that, "Jesus went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed of the devil" Acts Chapter 10. Not only did Jesus die for our sins, but He also died for our sicknesses. When Jesus was on the earth, He healed multitudes of people. God's love for us is so great that He wants to heal us when we are sick. After Christ rose from the grave and ascended to heaven, God the Father sent the Holy Spirit who continues on the ministry of Jesus through the Church. (Scripture references: Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Luke 4:18)
JESUS IS BAPTIZER IN THE HOLY SPIRIT:
The third cardinal truth is that Jesus baptizes us in the Holy Spirit, represented by the dove. To be baptized in the Holy Spirit means to be completely immersed in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist said just as he baptized in water, Jesus would baptize in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you" Acts 1:8. Just as the 120 in the upper room received the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) we believe that every believer today can have the same experience. (Scripture references: Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-33; Acts 10.)
JESUS IS REDEEMER FROM THE CURSE:
The fourth truth is that Jesus redeems us from the Curse. Because of Mankind's sin and rebellion, we have incurred a debt to God. God's law is eternal and the breaking of the law incurs an eternal debt. Breaking God's commandments also puts us under a curse. The Bible mentions these curses in Deuteronomy chapter 18. Because of our failure, we were slaves to these curses. Jesus paid the price for our redemption. When Jesus shed His blood, His life was given for us and thus the price needed for our redemption was paid. He set us free from these curses. Some of these curses include poverty, destruction, confusion, etc. In the place of curses we can now receive God's blessings. (Scripture references: (Deut 18; Gal 3:13; Eph 1:7-14.) references: (Deut 18; Gal 3:13; Eph 1:7-14.)
JESUS IS THE SOON COMING KING:
The Bible clearly tells us that after Jesus' death, burial, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven He will come again as King, represented by the crown. This is what we call the Blessed Hope of the Church. The Bible talks about the "rapture" of the Church. This is when Jesus comes in the clouds and those who are dead in Christ will rise first and those who are alive at His coming will be changed in an instant and caught up to meet Jesus in the air. He will then reign on the earth for a period of one thousand years as King of the whole earth. (Scripture references: (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess 4:13-18.)

PRAY

It's time to pray for the leaders of our nation.They need our prayers. The times are turbulent: economy in jeopardy, nations in conflict. How can leaders lead during a day of bail-outs and bombings? Only with God's help.So let's request it. On January 20, 2009–inauguration day–set aside some minutes to pray for our incoming President. Ask God to inspire, direct and protect him. Pray for his wife and daughters. Use your worship time, family time and private time to ask God's blessings on Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and all the men and women who serve and lead our country. It's time to pray.Let's do just that.Pray for rulers and for all who have authority so that we canhave quiet and peaceful lives full of worship and respect for God. (1 Timothy 2:2)

To my future wife

(song title: Will you marry me?artist: John Berry)I think I've waited long enough,Let enough time go by,To know just what I need in my life.When I look at you right now,My heart is telling me why,You're the only one for me.An' tonight, if you let me ask you this,With Heaven as my witness: Will you marry me?I wanna be with you for all eternity.I swear my love for you will always be.Here, on bended knee,Baby, I'm asking, please,Will you marry me? All that I see in your eyes,Let me save deep inside,'Cause I don't wanna lose one moment of you.Lookin' like the picture in my dreams,One that I see comin' true.'Cause you're dreamin' the same dream I do.Please let me ask you this,All of Heaven as my witness: Will you marry me?I wanna be with you for all eternity.I swear my love for you will always be.Here, on bended knee,Baby, I'm asking, please,Will you marry me? You're the only thing I've ever been this sure of.More than anything I've ever wanted before. Will you marry me?I wanna be with you for all eternity.I swear my love for you will always be.Here, on bended knee,Baby, I'm asking, please,Will you marry me?Will you marry me? Oh.(Will you marry me?)Will you marry me?(I wanna be with you for all eternity.)Be with you.(I swear my,) love for you will always be.Right here, on bended knee,Oh, baby, I'm asking, please,Will you marry me?

The Brick Layer

A leader is a brick layer, he is the one who builds the foundation for all things to be built on. Whether your a teacher, parent, student, pastor or CEO. But what are the qualities that are necessary to be a leader?

1. Called. A true leader is called to be exactly that, they done just trip and fall into leadership.

2. Convicted. what his purpose is in life.

3. Authentic Character. A true leader is someone with transparent character, what you see is what you get, no fakes.

4. Broken. A true leader is a broken vessel, who has been pieced back together by the Almighty Creator, Christ.

5. Visionary.A true leader is someone who has dreams, even if some think they are crazy, they have vision to see the process and the end result.

6. Influence. A true leader has influence on everything around him, if not influencing, than who or what is he leading?

7. Faithful. A true leader is faithful in all he does. No matter if its to God, family, calling, he is faithful to that which is set before him.

8. God seeking and fearing. A true leader strives to have a closer more genuine intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

9. Servant minded. A true leader realizes that he is a servant of his Lord and Savior.

10.Passion.A true leader has an ever growing passion for what it is he has been called by God to do.

11. Available. A true leader is one who is not only available to be used by good, but is also available to those he is leading.

12. Legacy. A true leader starts early with living a life with all of the above qualities of a leader. So that those who he lived his life around seen him live them all in his everyday life for future generations after to follow.

So sad but true.

Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall. Please read the poem he wrote. The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama . Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.America the beautiful,or so you used to be.Land of the Pilgrims' pride;I'm glad they'll never see.Babies piled in dumpsters,Abortion on demand,Oh, sweet land of liberty;your house is on the sand.Our children wander aimlesslypoisoned by cocainechoosing to indulge their lusts,when God has said abstainFrom sea to shining sea,our Nation turns awayFrom the teaching of God's loveand a need to always prayWe've kept God in ourtemples,how callous we have grown.When earth is but His footstool,and Heaven is His throne.We've voted in a governmentthat's rotting at the core,Appointing Godless Judges;who throw reason out the door,Too soft to place a killerin a well deserved tomb,But brave enough to kill a babybefore he leaves the womb.You think that God's notangry,that our land's a moral slum?How much longer will He waitbefore His judgment comes?How are we to face our God,from Whom we cannot hide?What then is left for us to do,but stem this evil tide?If we who are His children,will humbly turn and pray;Seek His holy faceand mend our evil way:Then God will hear from Heaven;and forgive us of our sins,He'll heal our sickly landand those who live within.But, America the Beautiful,If you don't - then you will see,A sad but Holy Godwithdraw His hand from Thee.~~Judge Roy Moore~~

True love needs no sight.

A young man fell deeply in love with a young lady who was blind. Although very beautiful and talented, she was also bitter in regard to her affliction. But he repeatedly spoke of his undying love and proposed marriage assuring her the blindness only increased his affection but she refused saying her blindness would always remain an obstacle to any happy marriage. Finally, however, someone donated their eyes to her, and miracle of miracles, she now could see! But imagine her shock when she realized that her lover was also blind! Now that she could see, the young man once again proposed marriage but was told she still could not enter into this arrangement for his blindness would be a painful reminder of her previous condition. The young man replied that of course he understood and wished her the very best. A year later he received a wedding invitation from this ex-blind girl announcing her upcoming marriage to a wealthy business man, asking him if possible to attend the ceremony. She soon received his answer stating this would not be possible due to his condition but wished her all the happiness in the world, and promised she would always remain in his prayers. After signing the letter, he added this postscript – “Please take special care of my eyes.”

Rubik's Cube( i gotta thank my friend maria for this)

"Sometimes I look down and realize my hands are clutching dreams--dreams of my Prince Charming in our suburban castle, surrounded by awhite picket fence, and guarded by a floppy-eared barking ferocity. Mydreams aren't bad, and they might even be God-given, but even God'sgifts can become idols in my tenacious clutch. They becomeall-consuming elements of my life, and they don't even EXIST! If Godhasn't transformed my dreams into reality, I sometimes assume theresponsibility to help Him."Remember the Rubik's Cube? In grade school, the multi-colored blockpuzzle entertained my classmates and me for many recess hours. It was amonumental achievement for me to get just one side of the cubecompleted. Then I'd look at the other five sides and realize howwoefully inadequate I was to put the whole puzzle together. No matterhow I twisted and turned things, it only got worse. In my hands, theoriginal design would never be restored."I had a classmate who was a master with the cube, and in frustration,I'd finally hand the mess over to him. The first thing he always didwas destroy the part I'd worked so hard to assemble. He'd twist andturn my one-sided masterpiece, until it looked just like the disaster Icould make. It was once again seemingly scrambled beyond compare.Inevitably, though, with a little bit of patience and a lot ofwrenching turns, his thorough knowledge of the puzzle always prevailed.With order restored, the cube became a perfect design of color andsymmetry. "I always knew it COULD come together, but try as I might, it wouldnever happen in my hands. Left to me, it was limited to a one-sidedsolution at best. But in the hands of a master, the scrambled, twistedmess wasn't even a challenge. "In the struggle to retain my life dreams and somehow make them happen,I've sometimes felt like a Rubik's Cube. Just when I get one side of mylife falling into place and making some sense, I realize that so muchelse is beyond my control. I am helpless to solve things, and in fact,I make a bigger mess and create more pain. "It's only when I hand it back to the Master Puzzler that there ishope. He may twist and change the whole puzzle, and it may appear to methat He's just created another disaster beyond repair, yet I know thatmy puzzle is never out of His control. Sometimes the transitions,twists, and turns of life make me creak and groan. I don't understand,and I don't see the solution. Sometimes I wonder what on earth He isdoing with my life, but I'm so thankful that He understands what Ican't. With a lot of patience on my part, and an expert series oftwists on His part, life takes on a whole new dimension. "The Master Puzzler often takes His time revealing that new dimension.He may choose to turn the cube a little more slowly, drawing out thegroan of the jumbled mess. He may allow great pain to course through mylife. But He knows the solution; He knows the way I must take. And Hecan get me there. "By the way, I don't even try to work Rubik's Cubes anymore-- even oneside. I guess after enough frustrating bouts with the puzzle, I learnedto leave it to those who know what they are doing."--Wendy Widder "Living Whole Without a Better Half"
